U.K. bans COVID boosters for under-50s
As the US FDA is set to recommend annual COVID boosters for all adults, the U.K. joins a growing list of countries banning the booster shots for people under 50.
This change in advisory is not without critique, as the WSJ editorial team slams the decision as “deceptive advertising” without “safe and effective” data.

The EU has approved crickets and other insects as an alternative to meat. The chef’s suggestion is to add ground insect powder to bread, pasta and meat substitutes. At this year’s annual World Economic Forum, Jim Snabe of Siemens AG calls for “a billion people to stop eating meat.” The WEF says if we eat more bugs, the climate won’t change (as much).
