Tinkering with bots: how dangerous is AI?
Plus, is Apeel all that appealing? (It's a Bill Gates thing.) The ethics of surrogacy, assisted suicide in Canada, that Tucker f*cker, and more!
Godfather of AI quits Google to warn about scary technology
Not even sure what being the Godfather of AI entails, maybe making offers people can’t refuse, but 75-year-old Geoffrey Hinton has quit Google so that he can speak freely about his major AI concerns. The MSM rarely reports more than slight skepticism about AI, but even the NYT has taken notice. Considering we are at mind reading stage, it’s about damn time.

Instagram: Bill Maher interviews Elon Musk
Bill says, “[I] finally got to talk to the guest I've wanted to have on more than any other.”
Lately, both men are very popular in the “freedom” alternative media crowd. And both have been “accused of” being the C-word. Which C-word? There are so many. We don’t want to spoil it for you.
They discuss Elon’s view of the “woke mind virus” in this clip. In another, they discuss AI and how Elon proposes to “control” it. “Heed this warning,” says Bill.

Gates-funded ‘edible’ food coating gets green light from regulators
Edipeel, marketed as Apeel, is described as a colorless, odorless, tasteless coating for fruit and vegetables that’s composed entirely of a mixture of food-grade glycerolipids, derived from edible plant oils, that we’re assured is entirely safe to eat. Right, because they wouldn’t lie.

Video clip: Canadian PM Justin Trudeau rewrites history
Trudeau says he never forced anyone to get vaccinated and that he just “chose to make sure all the incentives and all the protections were there to encourage Canadians to get vaccinated.”
Last year, Trudeau said, “Mandates are the way to avoid further restrictions”… and that his team would be makin sure that happened! Many will recall that Trudeau also froze bank accounts from peacefully protesting truckers who didn’t want to be forced to inject the V.

‘Tucker Twitter files’ reveal how the WHO helped Twitter censor TC
The “Tucker Twitter files,” released last week by journalist Paul D. Thacker, show that in 2021, Twitter sought to censor Tucker Carlson after he published an op-ed stating that the Covid vaccines are dangerous for children. Carlson cited information found on the World Health Organization’s (WHO) website — information the WHO “stealth-edited” after Carlson’s commentary.
In a related article, Children’s Health Defense says:
According to Carlson, the question to ask when assessing public figures isn’t, “Who is corrupt?” — because there are “too many to count.”
“The question is, ‘Who is telling the truth?’” Carlson said. “There are not many of those.”
He shouts out Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as one of the rare “truth-tellers.”

Instagram: Is surrogacy ethical?
Louise Perry, author of the new book “The Case Against the Sexual Revolution,” which has been lauded by both the left and the right, says “I don’t think surrogacy takes account of the child’s best interests at all.” Instagram hit above or, if you prefer, here is the article or full interview (at the 32m marker).

“Last year we decided to eat foods solely from our farm.”
Deep dive into seasonality and locality of food with Tara Couture, nutritionist and farmer. How ironic that eating local, seasonal food, as nature intended, seems so simple yet so impossible in our world today.
What I’ve known for a long time is that eating seasonally connects us to our local food systems and that it’s our local farmers that will always deliver to us the freshest, most nutritious foods we can get. For that reason, seasonality mattered. What I’m understanding now, is that this is only the tip of the iceberg. The immeasurable, the resonance, the messages of those foods - all these things you don’t even pay for but matter more than anything to your body, your mind, and your spirit, are the true gifts in eating from place. Self proclaimed “anti-abortion zealot” says “pro-life hardliners” are not helping their cause
This article from British magazine The Spectator is titled ‘Pro-life’ hardliners will get more babies killed. Its author, Ann Coulter, is a conservative pundit and proclaimed “anti-abortion zealot.” Ann is pleading for a middle ground from Republicans.
Thomas Sowell said, “There are no solutions. There are only trade-offs.” Hecklers continues to wonder what is the compromise on abortion, since it seems to just be a weapon wielded by both sides (‘cause is it just me or do half of your friends and family vote on this single issue?). It’s an important issue, we agree, but we are not gonna come to a solution right now because abortion needs to be tackled culturally through independent media discussion and debate, and through education, i.e. “informed consent.” One thing most of us can probably agree on, the MSM hasn’t done abortion justice. It’s just another censored debate.
