Yahoo News has just reported a “measles outbreak” with as few as 8 people in some states. Philadelphia, my town, had a 50 person “outbreak” last month which no one in my circles had even heard of. But back in the ‘60’s, the measles was considered part of growing up. This Brady Bunch episode is the perfect example of how Americans never feared this infection… until they were programmed to. // (Wonder if the chicken pox will be so feared someday.
