But Congress didn’t want them to quit making vaccines, so after 4 years of deliberation, the NCVI Act was passed and signed into law in 1986 by Ronald Reagan. The Act removed all liability of injury or death to vaccine makers.// After that, new vaccine production sky-rocked (we are now up to over 75 doses before age 18), many more vaccines were added to the CDC schedule (a schedule which in some states, including Cali, is forced upon students).
