Hey there,
Guess what. We don’t actually want you to do what you’re told. We just wanted to — pssst! — catch your attention. Also, we dropped a hefty chunk of change on these billboards because that’s how much this matters to us. Will you give us a minute to tell our story?
We are a newsletter like no other.
In a nutshell, we aggregate multiple sources of independent news & commentary (non-mainstream) from frequently suppressed & censored voices because we believe what's NOT being reported is really what you need to know.
Don’t worry, we keep it interesting, sourcing a well-rounded cast of misfits, including everyone from high-brow ex-New York Times reporters, to Instagram/TikTok “citizen journalists,” to comedians and podcasters. Think of us like Yahoo! News but with personality and minus the mainstream media garbage.
Why is this such an important newsletter? Well, because while the world has an absolute sh*t storm of media competing for your attention, the full story is often missing. What’s not being reported in mainstream media is— and perhaps always was— the biggest bias in the news today. Substantiated, uninfluenced, complete information is really hard to find. Our newsletter shines a light on the missing pieces and checks under the table and over by the dog’s dish because no one likes a puzzle with missing pieces.
If you follow mostly mainstream media, then you may not know these independent voices yet. But we choose carefully, and our sources are selected for their inclination toward objective evaluation of what is happening in the world. To be clear, by independent, we mean this: as free as possible from conflicts of interest, especially political and financial.
So if you’re new to alternative media & independent news, buckle up. You may find yourself shocked and challenged on some of these bumpy back-roads. There’s a chance you might even change your mind about some things. But our biggest hope is— you’ll stop just doing what you’re told.
See ya on the flip side. Meaning, in your inbox a couple times a week. *What do you have to lose? It’s free!* Check out our latest newsletters here.
