A political play starring Donald J Trump (not a musical)
Plus "left" and "right" are social constructs, politics are sabotaging our medical schools AND patients, and a prison in Norway that kinda looks like a vacation tbh.
Donald J. Trump, folk hero
Great job, Dems! My misgivings about the man himself will be placed on the back burner. His fate and the nation’s are now inextricably linked.
This former New York Times author is bucking her tribe. Find out why.
How America’s obsession with DEI is sabotaging our medical schools
I spent over 50 years as a physician and educator at Penn Med. Now I’m using civil rights legislation to protect the profession—and American patients.
Podcast: The myth of left and right
The book 'The Myth of Left and Right: How the Political Spectrum Misleads and Harms America,' written by brothers Hyrum and Verlan Lewis, discusses how conservatism and liberalism/progressivism are fluid and largely meaningless terms. Focus on the current positions of the Republican and Democrat parties, as they may differ significantly from their past stances. A party that once opposed war may now support it, and a party that once advocated for smaller government may now endorse larger government. A party that was against censorship may have changed its stance. Consider using specific candidate positions instead of relying on the divisive labels of conservative or liberal. Avoid being influenced by provocative headlines from mainstream media, such as Rolling Stones' "Why is the Right so obsessed with seed oils."
We imagine if you’re reading DWYT, you’re already heading in that direction. Most of the folks we shout out in this newsletter consider themselves politically agnostic, independent, and/or move back and forth between parties. (Like Jenny Holland in the article above.) It’s also an interesting thought that it’s usually the independents who decide the presidential election. Be the deciders!

How prison looks in Norway
Michael Moore takes us on a tour and asks the question, “Where is the punishment?”
This is an American idea. Your founding fathers put in your constitution… ‘No cruel or unusual punishment.’ You wrote that.
The US has one of the highest recidivism rates in the world, 80%. Norway has one of the lowest at 20%.

Is ‘net zero’ a climate fix or a financial scam?
Environmental activist and food sovereignty advocate Vandana Shiva, Ph.D., said the growing ‘net zero’ movement promoted by Bill Gates and other globalists is a scam allowing polluters to buy credits instead of reducing emissions.
This “keen environmentalist” probably agrees with Vandana (and Michael Moore too); says the green energy fixes (wind/solar) are doing more harm than good.

Increase in miscarriages, stillbirths directly linked to Covid shots. Health officials ‘should have known’
In groundbreaking research presented a few weeks ago, statistician says data show miscarriages and stillbirth rates in 2022 corresponded directly to Covid vaccination among pregnant women in Switzerland nine months earlier — and vaccine makers and public health officials either knew or could have known this information at the time.

What Good and Evil flow around us?
Naomi Wolf’s best sellers are hard to put down, including Vagina and The Bodies of Others. After her near death experience this summer, the rogue mainstream journalist wrote this beautiful piece.
Finally, who thinks we should we build a billboard campaign around this? 🥴
